libcephfs-dev software package provides Ceph distributed file system client library (development files), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcephfs-dev
libcephfs-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcephfs-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcephfs-dev *
You will get with libcephfs-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
